The 210 kilometer long North Line of the Chennai Suburban Railways running from Chennai Central to the Bitragunta in the state of Andhra Pradesh is the third longest of the Suburban Railway system. Suburban trains run on 2 mainlines as the 3rd and the 4th lines are under construction till Gummidipoondi. Then the trains run on two lines till Sulurpeta . From Sulurpeta they run on MEMU Lines to be extended to Bitragunta via Nellore.
