Railway Stations along the South Line of the Chennai Suburban Railways

The 163 kilometers long South Line of the Chennai Suburban Railways  running from Chennai Beach to Villupuram is the fourth longest suburban line that runs southwards from Chennai. This is the oldest suburban line in Chennai.  Suburban Services terminate at Chengalpattu and Main EMU services at Villupuram.

Points to Note: 
Suburban service terminates at Chengalpattu
An EMU service operates between Beach - Villupuram which goes along the suburban tracks till Chengalpattu.
Then from Chengalpattu, runs  on the main EMU line till Villupuram.
