Taj Coromandel is a star deluxe hotel in the city of Chennai. This is located at the Mahatma Gandhi Road , earlier known as Nungambakkam High Road. Hotel Taj Coromandel has become a landmark in the city as well as a tourist attraction by itself.
There are various types of dining options / facilities available at the Taj oromandel Hotel. Chipstead is a bar, Southern Spice is a multi cuisine restaurant, Prego an Italian cuisine Restaurant and Anise the coffee shop.
Chipstead is a stylish and contemporary bar which is located just off the Lobby. It comes with a relaxed ambience which ids conversation and has sophistication. The Bar has a stunning range of Malts, wine, as well as spirits and rare whisky.
The Bar timings are from 11 am to 12 midnight.
Southern Spice is a southindian cuisine restaurant. The decor of the restaurant has been inspired by the temples in south india and the Mysore palace.The restaurant serves delicious food and delicacies from the four south indian states . There are live programmes / performances from classical dance, flute and voilin recitals etc.
The restaurant timings are 12.30 pm to 2.45 pm and again from 7.0 pm to 11.30 pm
Prego is an authentic Italian cuisine restaurant which serves a variety of recipes from home made pastas. You can taste exotic vegetarian and non vegetarian fare. Their unique cuisine are flavoured with the authentic tastes of the vineyards of Italy. Prego estaurant also has a show kitchen where you can see the food you ordered getting cooked. The restaurant specializes in Italian wines and serves about 60 different labels of the same.
The timings are 11.45 am to 2.45 pm and again from 7.00 pm to 11.30 pm
Anise is the Vibrant coffee shop which offers a wonderful selection of the cuisine from all over the world. The restaurant is of a contemporary and informal setting.
