‘HIJACKK’ – Mobile Double Decker Restaurant is a unique and first of its kind restaurant. The mobile restaurant which is the first Double Decker restaurant in south india, gives you food, fun and entertainment on wheels . This is a 30 kilometers ride on the East coast road starting from Blue Lagoon to MGM Resort and then back to Blue Lagoon.The Double decker Bus travels at a speed of 40 kilometers per hour and the trip takes about 90 minutes. There are two trips in a day one at 7.00 pm and the seciond at 8.45 pm.
The Mobile Doucle Decker Restaurant is a 44 seater, with an open upper deck and a lower deck with a great ambience. The lower Deck has one of the most luxurious and elegant sittings, fully air conditioned with a great ambience created by variation of lights and serene music. There is an audio vdeo system in the lower deck for you to enjoy watching your favourite movies, soaps, Music, Cricket and more.
The upper deck gives you a fun and sporting experience like dining in open airwhile one is on the move. You can have live music, savoury cuisines, open-air dining while you are on the move with romance, adventure and entertainment, all packed together.
You can also stay connected to the net while enjoying your trip with the wifi facilitiy available there in the mobile restaurant.
Food on the Mobile Restaurant
They serve a 7 course meal whic has a fixed menu of mocktails, soups, salads, starters, main courses and desserts. The rate for the Vegetarian meals is Rs 565 and for the non vegetarian meals is Rs 765. The menu keeps changing every 15 days.
