The Verandah is located inside the Taj Connemara Hotel  over looking the swimming pool. The Verandah is a all day and night restaurant serving a medley of Anglo Indian, Indian, Italian and south indian cuisine as well as a wide variety of beverages. The restaurant has a chic look and an  informal ambience and an inter active kitchen as well.
There is a lavish breakfast buffet  and a rich dinner buffet on week days. The restaurant also serves an extravagant brunch on a Sunday morning, exclusive dinner buffet with special North Indian and chinese delicacies. Hip Asia is a Pan Asian restaurant  where orders can be placed on PDA's  and the ambience is such that even the music played  has been specially composed keeping in mind.
Some of the specialties served at the Hip Asia restaurant is Prawns in Tamarind Sauce, Murtabak (a Malaysian savoury pancake), Rice Paper Rolls from Vietnam, Grilled Soya Paste on Sugarcane Sticks, Satay Chicken or Lamb, Asparagus and Haricot Soup and Stewed Lamb Shanks in Chilli and Oyster Sauce.

The Raintree  is a restaurant where you will be welcomed with silk saree clad ladies with offerings of traditional sweets  and snacks at the entrance. You can see both types of settings that is open as well as air conditioned.
